Francesco Pirazzi paints landscapes and urban spaces in which light transforms the ordinary into something unfamiliar. Empty streets, trees, buildings and playgrounds become the protagonists of scenes poised between observation, memory and imagination. With human figures absent, the places themselves suggest stories without resolving them.

His arrangements of colour, shadow and illumination give everyday surroundings a theatrical presence. A familiar view can feel both intimate and distant, as if something has just happened or is about to begin. Rather than illustrating a fixed narrative, his paintings leave room for the viewer’s own associations.
