built on friendship.
We are four contemporary art collectors living in different cities across Italy, brought together by friendship and a shared passion for discovering contemporary art.
What started as four individual collections has grown into a collective journey, shaped by curiosity, research, and countless conversations about art.

The name UnderDog reflects our own position as collectors. Coming from different professional backgrounds, outside the traditional structures of the art world, we have developed our collections independently, guided by personal research, curiosity, and our own sensibilities.
For us, being an underdog means approaching art on our own terms, without feeling bound by established hierarchies or market trends. It means trusting our judgment, remaining open to new perspectives, and accepting that collecting is also a process of exploration and discovery.
We are drawn to fresh ideas, distinctive artistic practices, and perspectives that challenge our way of seeing. We believe collecting is about more than acquiring artworks: it is about taking the time to look, meeting artists, building relationships, and developing a deeper understanding of their work.
Our tastes may differ, but sharing our experiences and perspectives has allowed us to build something that goes beyond our individual collections: a common vision shaped by dialogue, friendship, and a genuine interest in contemporary art.
More than collectors, we are great friends.
Art is meant to be shared.
