Lorenzo Conforti’s painting explores the boundaries between abstraction and figuration, creating ambiguous, organic forms that resist fixed interpretations. Combining oil paint and spray paint, he develops layered compositions in which fragmented anatomical references dissolve into fluid, atmospheric spaces.

Rooted in his early experiences with graffiti and music, his practice embraces improvisation, rhythm and unpredictability. His paintings evoke a sense of suspended reality, where forms seem to emerge, transform and disappear. Rather than offering recognizable narratives, Conforti seeks to engage the viewer through sensation and emotional resonance, exploring the potential of imagination as an alternative to the visual uniformity of contemporary life.
